Our Senior Account Manager is a solutions expert. They take a consultative approach on new and existing business, leveraging applied media performance management experience with ongoing industry trends to provide perspective, relevance and value in our digital media planning strategy and execution.This encompasses verticalized solutions and tactical, performance-driven strategies that are customized to each client’s circumstance, challenges and desired outcome.They will be responsible for their own book of business and will directly own the day-to-day support, execution and growth strategy that follows. Senior Account Managers are comfortable navigating the gray areas and able to make informed decisions independently, in order to drive results for our clients and our business.
Responsibilities
Pre-Sales (Renewals and New Business)
Lead new business strategy sessions with cross-functional teams, to align on clients goals and actualize ideas into actionable campaign solutions for advertisers
Own pre-sales plan pricing and inventory forecasting
Partner with Vendors and Delivery to determine pricing exceptions and internal costs
Consistently evaluates and asks for upsell and cross-sell opportunities on entire book
Handle any and all ad-hoc requests in a timely, efficient manner
Collaborates with cross-functional teams to carry out proposal development of RFPs, media plan sheets, gathering or developing content for decks
Active thought-leader, assist, educate and empower other Account Managers in the development of media recommendations
Take the lead role in assimilation of research data, rates and specifications
Use planning, evaluation and buying tools (i.e. Nielsen, Comscore, eMarketer and Forrester) for application/analysis into competitive landscape
Target digital consumption support, plan development and reportingMonitors trends, new sites, innovative and creative ad units and technologies, as well as competitive information and applications in programmatic environments, and appropriately apply that knowledge
Post Sales
Extract, interpret, and effectively communicate data patterns, trends, optimizations and performance impact to Clients
Exercise transparency and accountability
Works closely with the Delivery Team to ensure relevant strategies are implemented and ensure campaigns are meeting/exceeding client goals
Constantly keep a pulse on the health of campaigns, assigned portfolio and/or channel
Looking for risks in profitability and areas of opportunity for scale
Ask to take on more spend when feasible or let clients know when we need to give money back
Ensure proper campaign launch and campaign setup
Budgets are properly allocated, that all 3rd party reports are recording and data ingested into Amobee Platform
Provide technical support to internal sales teams and external clients through written and verbal communication across topics such as: ad tags, behavioral cookie targeting, conversion tracking, and display and video specs
Using Amobee Intranet as a resource tool, updates Intranet to reflect current Product information
Able to own the technical conversation with client-side, quickly spot where discrepancies are coming from and provide solutions to help rectify, escalate to Product to resolve when necessary
Ensure accurate invoicing for goods & services, troubleshoot billing discrepancies
Solve for how additional fees are collected and billed
Able to assess and mediate make good and credits independently
Active contributor, Leads training of other Account Managers and extended teams, scaling learning and results
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree
3-5 years of relevant programmatic experience
1-2 years digital media, experience buying and actively optimizing and/or account management experience
Ability to travel 15% overnight + 15% locally
Hard Skills
Advanced level proficiency in Google Suite or similar (i.e. Excel and PPT)
Able to work with complex formulas
Expert level knowledge of ad exchanges, aggregators, ad servers, and other optimization platforms
Strong analytical skills and ability to draw conclusions based on data
Expert knowledge of digital media, how channels work together to create a cohesive, personalized media plan for the customer, not just knowledge of one channel
Soft Skills
Ability to prioritize workload independently, multitask effectively, work collaboratively with teams and comfortable giving and receiving feedback
Confident, articulate and have excellent instincts with regard to business strategy and general marketing theory
Able to make decisions quickly and with minimal supervision
Strong writing, presentation and strategic and analytical thinking skills
Able to simplify complex or tech-heavy content for the average consumer to digest

Experience with large client-facing projects, ideally in consulting, agency or other business-related services
Compensation for Colorado residents only:
Amobee carefully considers many factors, such as experience and competencies, regarding compensation. These considerations can greatly impact compensation amounts. This role starts at a minimum $61,100 annual base salary. Depending on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, qualifications and skillsets, the actual pay may be higher. Amobee also offers a very competitive benefits package, which are subject to eligibility requirements.
