Keep Calm and Embrace Digitization

Many businesses are embracing digital disruption and trying to find a place for it within their organization. Drivers for change, according to eMarketer research, include evolving consumer behavior (55%); growth opportunities in new markets (53%); and increased competitive pressure (49%).

How can marketers navigate this rapid transformation?

Richard Robinson, Managing Director-EMEA at Turn, discussed the topic with UK marketing publication The Drum. First and foremost, he said, ask why the change is necessary. Could it benefit your organization, and if so, who are the people you need around you to make it happen? Digital transformation is really about how companies can leverage technology to improve the way they operate and engage with people externally and internally, Richard said. And of course, change needs to start at the top of an organization and find its way into the culture of the company.
